Alan advises clients on maximizing value, recovery, and financial returns in complex restructuring situations. He works with management teams and boards of directors of middle-market companies facing financial challenges as well as with secured lenders and unsecured creditors of companies in similar situations, both in court (Chapter 11) and out of court. As New York Local Market Leader, Alan also helps build and maintain the distinguishing culture at AlixPartners. Alan has been providing these critical services for almost three decades and was with a Big Four advisory firm before joining AlixPartners. He has a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Pennsylvania and sits on the boards of non-profits Newark Public Radio (WBGO) and Youth INC.
