Mr. Anthony R. Horton (Tony) is Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer/Chief Risk Officer and Executive Vice President of Energy Future Holdings Corp. and has served as Treasurer for it and all of its subsidiaries since April 2004. Prior to then, Mr. Horton served as Assistant Treasurer and Sr. Managing Director of Financial and Credit Risk. Mr. Horton was a key financial and M&A executive involved in restructuring of TXU in 2002 through 2004 after the failure of TXU Europe. In 2004 and 2005, he worked closely with the new CEO in restructuring the Company and its Balance Sheet. Mr. Horton was intimately involved in structuring and financing the sale of TXU relating to the 2007 LBO with KKR, TPG, and Goldman. Post the LBO, he led the sale of the minority interest in Oncor and led ~$30 billion in liability management and amend and extend transactions. Also, Mr. Horton has been a lead executive in the restructuring of EFH through the bankruptcy process including raising DIP financing, DIP roll-to-exit financing, tender offers, and the sale of EFH/Oncor.

Mr. Horton holds a BBA in Management and Economics from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Masters of Professional Accounting and Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington and Dallas. Professional certifications include CPA, CFA, CMA, and CFM. He is an adjunct speaker at the University of Texas at Dallas and Texas Christian University.
