Jason Perri is a Partner and Senior Portfolio Manager of American Industrial Partners and manages the firm’s special situations strategy, Lightship Capital. Lightship has a flexible mandate to invest in public or private instruments in all parts of the capital structure. Before joining AIP, Mr. Perri spent seven years at Apollo Global Management where he was a Senior Principal leading investments in special situations in the Strategic Value Fund. Prior to that, he was a founding member of H.I.G. Capital’s distressed platform, Bayside Capital. He began his career as an Analyst and Associate at The Blackstone Group advising on large corporate restructurings and reorganizations. Mr. Perri graduated from Harvard University with an AB cum laude in Economics and earned an MBA from Columbia Business School.
