Michael Genereux is a Partner in the Restructuring and Special Situations Group at PJT Partners.

Mr. Genereux has worked on a wide range of restructuring and special situation assignments for companies, ad hoc creditor groups, official creditor committees, corporate board committees, and acquirers and sellers of distressed assets. He has also provided expert witness testimony in bankruptcy cases on valuation, capital structure and other financial matters.

Prior to joining PJT Partners, he worked at Blackstone for thirteen years and served as a Senior Managing Director. Before that, Mr. Genereux was with Credit Suisse First Boston in the media and telecom group, Merrill Lynch & Co, Barclays, PepsiCo and Price Waterhouse.

Mr. Genereux received a BS from the School of Business at Wake Forest University, where he also is on the Board of Visitors, and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University.
