Jon Kartus is a second year MBA student at Wharton. This past summer, Jon interned with Evercore’s Restructuring Advisory group and will be returning to the group full time next year. During the summer of 2015, he worked with a group of private investors to acquire Blue Moose of Boulder, a fast-growing manufacturer of refrigerated dips. Prior to Wharton, Jon spent two years on Bacardi’s Business Planning team, where he focused on a global operational restructuring and other corporate strategy projects. Before that, Jon advised corporate and private equity clients on valuation, deal structure, and technical accounting matters as part of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP’s Transaction Services team. Jon graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business in 2010.
